## What is US Election Day?

## What is Scientific notation?

Scientific notation is a way of simplifying the writing of big and small numbers by using a power of ten so that they would be easier to read.

Coefficient: This should be a number with an absolute value greater than or equal to 1 but less than 10. It should include all significant digits of the number.

Base: The base number is always 10.

Exponent: A positive or negative number that represents the number of decimal places moved to form the final coefficient.

This is a fantastic bundle which includes everything you need to know about Scientific Notations across 24 in-depth pages. These are ready-to-use Common core aligned 7th to 8th Grade Math worksheets.
