Who are these worksheets for?

This pack is suitable for learners aged 10-11 years old or 6th graders (USA). The content covers fact files and relevant basic and advanced activities involving survey.

Election Day in USA!

Election Day in the United States of America is held every Tuesday after the first Monday in November. On January 23, 1845, the election date was designated by law. But why Tuesday?

Back in the day, the USA, as an agrarian society, considered the harvest season. Early November was supposed to be a perfect time for elections as the busy days of harvest season are coming to an end.

Tuesday was considered to be a perfect day to hold the elections as Sunday is worship day for most Americans who are devout Christians, while Wednesday is market day for farmers. To give way to these days, Tuesday was seen as the most reasonable and best option.

What is Survey?
