Celebrate National Inventors’ Day!
The 11th day of February each year is a recognition day for the inventors in the US. It was on February 11, 1983, when President Ronald Reagan had a proclamation to celebrate National Inventors’ Day. This day also coincides with Thomas Edison’s birthday who is considered to be one of the greatest inventors of all time.
Writing Dates
- It is the day of the month or year, and it is specified with a number. Dates are based on the calendars.
- Write out the month, followed by the day and year. Place a comma between the day and the year in American English sentences.
- Write out the day before the month and year. In other words, order the data from smallest to largest.
- Place the year before the month and day. Unlike the British English Format, the order of data in this format is from largest to smallest. Always include the 4-digit year when using this format.
