Single Unit Value:

$1.50 ÷ 3 apples = 0.50

What is Unitary Method?

The unitary method computes the value of a single unit given the total value of multiple units. Once we know the value of a single unit, we can multiply that value by the total number of units we need to know the value of. This method can be used to figure out ratios, proportions, and percentages.
