What is Diwali?

What is Skip counting?

  • Skip Counting is a method of counting numbers by adding a specific number every time to the previous number.
  • In its core, it is simply addition and multiplication.
  • Skip counting can only happen if we count forward other than by 1’s.
  • To skip count, we keep adding the same number each time to the previous number.

How to skip count?

  • To skip count, first we need to know our base number.
  • After that, we need to know how much we are skipping by.
  • Follow that with writing your base number first.
  • Proceed by adding the skip number.
  • Then add the skip number again to the previous number.
  • Repeat the process!
