“If a triangle is a right triangle, then the sum of the squares of the legs of the triangle is equal to the square of the hypotenuse (side opposite of the right angle).”

Mathematical Translation:

“If a ∆ is a right ∆, then a²+ b²= c² where a and b are the legs and c is the hypotenuse.”
