Methods in Simplifying Complex Fractions

Method 1

Create one single fraction in the numerator (if necessary).
Create one single fraction in the denominator (if necessary).
Reciprocate the second fraction (denominator) and multiply to the first fraction (numerator)
Simplify whenever possible.

Method 2

Find the least common denominator (LCD) for all fractions appearing within the complex fraction.
Multiply both numerator and the denominator of the complex fraction by the LCD.
Simplify whenever possible.
